Ambient, Foley and Sound Effects Downloads
One of my favorite things to do, whether in the city or the country, is to go out “sound hunting” with one of my field recorders and see what kind of beautiful and strange sonic nuggets I can come up with. Here you will find free downloads of sound files. Some are foley or sound effects, while others are ambient recordings of rural or urban environments. I will continue to build this sound fx library, adding more each week. Feel free to download these files and use them in projects of your own: use them in your independent film, cut them up and remix them with other sounds to create something new; bend them, stretch them, time remap them…. the only thing I ask is that you give me attribution and a link back to my site. Go crazy. Have fun.
